Whānau Ora Service

The Whānau Ora Service supports Pacific families to reach their full potential in health, education, economic independence, community belonging, and positive contributions to society.

Whānau Ora is a holistic approach to family support, working in partnership with Pacific families. It empowers families as a unit rather than focusing on individual issues, fostering collective success.

The service aims for all families to live in safe, healthy homes and communities, equipped to support themselves. It promotes smoke-free Pacific families, workplaces, and churches, creating healthier and happier communities. The service helps ensure that Pacific children participate in early childhood education and that young people leaving school are supported in their next steps—whether into trades, employment, or further education.
